I regret playing Him last night, this might be the very last time He will be starting a game for me before He leaves by January”, Eddie Howe have finally ordered £50m player to pack His bag and leave by January due to His shambolic performance yesterday ..

Newcastle United Manager, Eddie Howe has admitted that Chelsea duo, Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson caused his team problems on Sunday.

Howe watched as Chelsea defeated Newcastle 2-1 in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge.

Two goals from Jackson and Palmer gave the Blues the victory over Newcastle as Alexander Isak did score a goal for Howe’s men.

Asked if Newcastle found it difficult in the opening stages of the match, Howe said at his post-match interview: “Yeah, it was.

“I think Palmer’s got that ability, whatever space he has, to be able to wriggle out of tight situations.

“Of course, if he has too much space he will kill you the other way. So we didn’t deal with him particularly well in that opening period of the game.

“Jackson as well gave us problems but I thought we began to get a grip the longer the game went on.”

There was plenty for Enzo Maresca to be pleased about with what he witnessed from his Chelsea side as they beat Newcastle United on Sunday afternoon.

Goals from Nicolas Jackson and Cole Palmer were enough for the Blues to record an important three points against the Magpies at Stamford Bridge over the weekend. “I’m very happy with the performance today,” Maresca said on Sunday

“For some moments, on the ball, we were unbelievable, some good combinations. The way we prepared the game, the plan, it was exactly there. Off the ball, we fight together, they deserved three points. That’s important.”.

While there were plenty of positives to take from the 90-or-so minutes – including some of the play on the ball and their work out of possession, too – there was another cause for concern when it came to goalkeeper Robert Sanchez. While he could not do anything about Alexander Isak’s equalising goal, the Spaniard started to audibly frustrate supporters with his distribution.

In Maresca’s system, using the goalkeeper to build from the back is absolutely imperative but Sanchez does not have the required skillset to do this effectively. A couple of times he looked for Pedro Neto or Noni Madueke on either wing and the ball instead passed them and the touchline. On one occasion, he aimed for Jackson on the halfway line but a poor kick was intercepted and almost gave Newcastle an opportunity on goal.
